Fall After School programming has begun we typically have between 6 and 10 children in the ages K and up, on Tuesday and Thursday.
The storytime for littles has not had any participation. This is primarily due to lack of transportation by day care.
The North Dakota State Library Technical Services Librarians came last Wednesday and installed a new router, which the library purchased. The State Library monitors use of wi-fi and updates the router remotely.
The Tech Services Librarians also reminded me that our web site and facebook pages will need to be ADA accessible, something I knew but had hoped would go away. 😝 Word Press is not a very easy platform to use and I am not a coder. I have visited with some different hosting services that would do this for us, cost was last year between 6000 and 7000 per year. Word Press is free, but as I have said difficult to use. I will be discussing this issue with the commissioners in October.
I will also be revisiting my upcoming retirement. Mark has a date at the end of May and I hope to also get finished by then. I wish to discuss with them making it a full time position with benefits,
We should have an in-person meeting ASAP, that said I will be gone 9/30-10/1 and 10-09-10/14, Please send me any dates you have available and I will get something scheduled.
